Rustic Barns are in!

These days, rustic is one of the most popular themes for weddings. There are some really great venues out there that are designed with this in mind. Beyond that, getting decorations to fit into a rustic theme are inexpensive and everywhere!

This past weekend, we had the opportunity to work at a Twin Silos Barn, in Livonia, New York. The former dairy barn was converted, over a two year process, into a venue with capacity for over 170 guests, space for catering, and a beautiful view. As strange as it sounds, one of the coolest attractions here was the bathroom. The twin silos were converted in fully functioning men’s and women’s restrooms. You literally look right up to the top of the Silo, truly a cool and unique experience.

The barn also featured a beautiful lawn and huge patio. The lawn is perfect for ceremonies, lawn games, and cocktail hour. The patio was where hor devours were served and the bar was located, with room left over for guests to mingle both before and after dinner.

Overall, working at Twin Silos was perfect, a beautiful venue on a quiet piece of land. It’s definitely a place to go if you’re looking for a rustic reception with some cool features. Take a look at their website here!
